It’s Trade Deadline Week, and we’ve got you covered with the latest moves and updates in real-time.
Welcome to Trade Deadline Week. The deals are about to start flying, some impacting the Phoenix Suns directly, others in more subtle ways. Our team will break down every trade in detail, but this thread will serve as your running tracker, with the latest updates right at the top. Keep checking back with Bright Side for a quick look at what the Suns have done and how each move affects the roster.
Any big trades will get the full deep dive soon enough, but until then, consider this your one-stop shop for all things Suns at the deadline!
Sunday, 10:45AM: A pair of former Suns are dealt
It’s not a trade that directly impacts the Suns, but it does involve a couple of familiar faces. Drew Eubanks — who slogged through last season in Phoenix with the team’s worst plus/minus — has been shipped from the Utah Jazz to the Los Angeles Clippers alongside Patty Mills. In return, the Jazz receive another former Sun in P.J. Tucker, along with Mo Bamba and a future first-round pick.

So why should Suns fans care? Because this move makes the Clippers even more dangerous at the trade deadline. Shedding salary brings them under the luxury tax, giving them added flexibility to make moves before the deadline and in the buyout market. Keep an eye on Los Angeles. They’re far from done.
We will continue to provide updates throughout the week as trades that affect the Suns occur or rumored players that they’ve been connected to come off the board.
Refresh. Often.
