New location, new position for Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal.
Per The Athletic, Beal will reportedly enter training camp as the team’s starting point guard following the Cam Payne trade.
Prior to this season, the three-time All-Star had exclusively played at the two-guard position for the entirety of his 11 years in the Association.
Bradley Beal is expected to enter 2023-24 Suns training camp as the team’s starting point guard, with Jordan Goodwin as a reserve PG, sources say.

While scoring is the name of his game, Beal has showcased the ability to create for others on occasion. Although one could argue Devin Booker’s skillset is better served running the point.
According to sources with the outlet, Phoenix would like Jordan Goodwin to be the team’s backup PG, who also came over in the Beal trade. Regardless, the Suns have no shortage of ball-handlers. As Beal, Booker, Kevin Durant and Eric Gordon can all bring the ball up and initiate the offense.
The Suns also recently signed Bol Bol to a one-year deal, giving Phoenix another dynamic offensive player if he can continue to develop.
