Suns fans finally get a reason to celebrate in a dramatic win over Clippers.
There’s something electric about watching a Phoenix Suns game that has you pumping your fist after key plays in the final moments. Seeing your team fight, showing effort and grit in those late-game situations. It’s the kind of passion you can get behind. It’s what creates that bond, that connection, which only winning can truly bring.
It’s been a long time since I pumped my fist with excitement during the later stages of a Suns game. This is what keeps me coming back.

Against the Clippers, in which the Suns came back from 19 points down in the fourth to win 119-117, I found myself pumping my fist once more, and in that moment, I asked myself: when was the last time I did this? When was the last time the Suns were in a game late, hitting big shot after big shot? When was the last time someone like Collin Gillespie came off the bench and made a true, winning impact? Sure, you could point to last Friday against the Pelicans, but let’s be honest. That game was a gift, and it wasn’t even close late.
But last night, against the Clippers, it felt different. There’s something special about these kinds of games. The ones that pull you back in, no matter how bleak the season might seem. Even in a year that feels all but lost, there’s an undeniable energy, a spark that comes from watching your team play quality basketball. It’s that feeling that keeps you coming back for more.
