We all could use a break.
Man, I miss Kevin Durant. And Bradley Beal. And winning basketball.
The Phoenix Suns are in a rough stretch, having dropped five straight games. Despite all the turmoil they faced last season, they never experienced a skid like this.
The Suns didn’t lose five straight games last season—or even four, for that matter.

Yet last night, they hit that low point. The Knicks came out firing, shooting a staggering 78.3% from the field in the first quarter, and the Suns never managed to claw their way back. The Suns lost 138-122.
I feel like I need a therapy couch to lie on. Deep down, I know this slump is temporary. Help is on the way, and the Suns have an unusual break coming up. Maybe the schedule makers thought Thanksgiving was this week, giving Phoenix six days off, but hey, I’ll take it. We all could use a breather. Hit the park, walk the dog, clean out the garage, or even rake the rocks in your front yard. Whatever it takes to step away for a bit and reset.
I have no answer other than this team will be okay. Peaks and valleys occur, and while the team is rocking “The Valley” uniforms, that’s what they’re in. Peaks lie ahead.
Bright Side Baller Season Standings
Oy to the vey! We just had the tightest Bright Side Baller race of the season so far. It was like Bush/Gore 2000 up in here! I was looking for hanging Chad’s n such. Why is it a “Chad”? Why are there practically no famous people named “Chad”? Do half of you have no clue what I’m talking about? That was the first election I ever voted in…turned 18 two weeks before it.
After Monday’s loss to the Magic, our community was left with five players to pick from. It all came down to Oso Ighodaro and Tyus Jones, neither of whom had cracked the Bright Side Baller standings before. Vote by vote, these two went head-to-head in a showdown that felt like Game 7 of… well…something important.
Tyus ended with 60 votes, beating out Ighodaro by a mere two votes.

I know you don’t want to vote. But you have to. It’s your right!
