Devin Booker publicly went to bat for Jonah Hill as the actor deals with backlash related to alleged “emotional abuse” toward his ex-girlfriend.
Hill’s ex, professional surfer Sarah Brady, shared a series of screenshots of apparent text messages from Hill during their relationship. The texts depicted Hill attempting to control Brady’s Instagram content, wardrobe and personal friendships, among other things.
“This is a warning to all girls. If your partner is talking to you like this make an exit plan,” Brady said in one video she posted on her Instagram stories.

Booker, meanwhile, shared a picture of Hill wearing a Suns jersey on his own Instagram story today, along with a “salute” emoji.

We’re not sure if Booker has a personal friendship with Hill or he was just sticking up for him because he felt he didn’t do anything wrong.
Either way, his decision to post that photo on IG has unsurprisingly sparked some controversy on social media.
