Phoenix Suns and Booker team up to give back to the community.
Devin Booker continues to cement his legacy in Phoenix, not just as the face of the franchise but as a cornerstone of the community. Now in his 10th season with the Suns, the star shooting guard has consistently used his platform to give back, making a lasting impact beyond the hardwood. On Monday, he did it again, this time by spearheading the renovation of a local park in north Phoenix.
Palamino Park, located on 30th Street north of Greenway Road, previously looked like any other basketball court; now, it’s decorated with some of the franchise player’s favorite things in orange and black.

The court features paintings of a Detroit Tigers baseball cap, the head of Booker’s dog, Haven, the words “Be Legendary,” written near one of the baskets, and more Phoenix and Booker themed items.
The transformation of the court was part of an initiative through the Phoenix Suns and Mercury Foundation, and Booker’s Starting Five that pledged $2.5 million to the community. Booker began the Devin Booker Starting Five in 2019, identifying five charities each year to support.
