Grayson Allen has once again found himself in the middle of a controversial foul call.
As he attempted to drive on Timberwolves guard Mike Conley Jr. in Saturday’s playoff game, Allen caught Conley with a hard left elbow to the face but didn’t receive a flagrant from the officials.
The play definitely sparked some debate on NBA Twitter:
“Naz Reid was ejected for this 11 days ago. But an elbow to the face isn’t a flagrant 1???” a user asked.
“Flagrant 2 kick Ted Cruz out the game,” another said.
“Imagine anyone on earth thinking that’s a flagrant,” a fan commented.
“If they call that a flagrant on Grayson you can 100% say the refs have an agenda,” another person replied.
“Any foul from Grayson Allen should be an automatically flagrant. He’s permanently lost the benefit of doubt.”
“I will glue myself to the court in protest if this elbow to Mike’s face doesn’t get upgraded to a flagrant 1,” a Minnesota fan tweeted.
Timberwolves fans couldn’t believe Grayson Allen wasn’t called for a flagrant foul on this play.

Allen has gained a reputation for himself as a dirty player dating back to his days at Duke. However, refs didn’t deem anything intentional on this sequence.
Do you think the Suns shooting guard should’ve been hit with more than a common foul?
