
The home of the Phoenix Suns will have a new ring to it.
Last night, footage appeared showing a rather visible change at the Footprint Center, the home of the Phoenix Suns. A big change is imminent in the Valley.
12News reporter Troy Lynch was informed that workers were seen removing the name signage from the front of the arena.

Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro later confirmed that a name change is coming to the home of the Suns.

Footprint, a local sustainability-based company, took over as the official naming partner for the Suns on July 16, 2021, during the 2021 NBA Finals. We all know what happened after the name switch in that series.
This will be the sixth name change for the arena since its opening in 1992.

- Talking Stick Resort Arena (2015-2020)
- Phoenix Suns Arena (2020-21)
- Footprint Center (2021-2025)

Suns owner Mat Ishbia has not been shy when it comes to change since taking over. This was rumored during the offseason but has now come to fruition during the NBA All-Star Break.
