Phoenix Suns minority owner Justin Ishbia is interested in buying the Minnesota Twins, according to Baxter Holmes of ESPN.
Ishbia, the younger brother of Suns majority owner Mat Ishbia, has an estimated net worth of nearly $5 billion.
The Pohlad family, who have owned the Twins for four decades, announced their intention to sell the team in October.
Ishbia is a founder of the Chicago private equity firm Shore Capital Partners and owns a 22% stake in United Wholesale Mortgage.
Ishbia is an alternate governor of the Suns and Mercury.
