Kevin Durant became the eighth player in NBA history to score 30,000 points on Tuesday night, hitting the mark in the Phoenix Suns’ 119-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 36-year-old forward reached the point total with a free throw in the third quarter.
Durant was most recently voted to his 15th All-Star Game.
Durant joins LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki and Wilt Chamberlain on the list. Julius Irving also hits the mark when combining his scoring totals from the NBA and ABA.
