Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant was likely as stunned as the rest of us to see Draymond Green strike Jusuf Nurkic in the Suns-Warriors game this week. The game resulted in an indefinite suspension for the Warriors forward.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Durant didn’t have much to say on the suspension for Green other than to wish him well moving forward.
“I hope he gets the help he needs,” Durant said, via Suns reporter Duane Rankin.
Durant had far kinder words for Nurkic, who he sent well-wishes to and hoped that he’s okay after being hit like that. He admitted that he had never seen anything like what Green did in an NBA game before.
“That was insane to see. Glad Nurk is alright. Never seen that on the basketball court in an NBA game.”

Draymond Green will now serve an indefinite suspension by the NBA and now has a reputation for being not only one of the dirtiest players in the league, but one of the dirtiest ever.
It’s going to take a lot more than an apology for Green to rebuild his reputation – assuming that’s even something that he wants to do anymore.
