Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant would like to see college basketball make major changes to their rules once the 2023-24 season is over.
Durant spent his Saturday afternoon watching his alma mater, Texas, upset No. 9 Baylor at home. During the second half of action, he shared his thoughts on the state of college hoops.
Not only would Durant like to see college basketball go from two halves to four quarters, he’d like to see the officials enforce defensive three seconds.
“I need to see defensive 3 seconds and 4 quarters in men’s college basketball…asap,” Durant wrote on X.

Judging by the responses to Durant’s post on X, it appears there are plenty of basketball fans who agree with his suggestions.
“I’ve been saying this…and 28 second shot clock at least,” one fan wrote.
Another fan said, “I think this actually would help the game. Men’s college basketball is pretty boring and archaic in many ways.”
Do you want men’s college basketball to shift from two halves to four quarters?
