Royce O’Neale and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to a four-year, $44 million deal. O’Neale’s contract is fully guaranteed with no team or player options. The Suns acquired O’Neale from the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline for three second round picks.
In 30 games with the Suns, O’Neale averaged 8.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 37.6 percent on three-pointers in 25.1 minutes.
O’Neale, who is represented by George Roussakis, is coming off a four-year, $36 million extension signed with the Utah Jazz in 2020.
