The Phoenix Suns are set to replace Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic in the starting lineup starting Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Chris Haynes.
Ryan Dunn and Mason Plumlee will start in place of Beal and Nurkic.
Haynes added that there is also “tension” within the Suns locker room.
“There is also tension in that locker room. I’m told certain players are unsure of their roles and frustrated with how they’re being used. The coaching staff, they’re still trying to figure things out.
So this situation will be something to monitor moving forward,” added Haynes.
The Suns are reportedly interested in trading for Jimmy Butler, though the Heat do not want to take back Beal’s contract.
