Let’s just use this one all of the time.
City Edition uniforms. They come out every year. The Phoenix Suns dropped their new threads yesterday, and we already knew what it was going to look like. A smash-up between the 1975 and 1995 All-Star Game (no love for 2009?).
Yesterday simply marked the day in which the threads were available for sale to the masses, and as I predicted, I’ve already put numerous items into my virtual shopping cart. While I’m not overly impressed by the jersey itself, I knew the Suns would do a stellar job marketing this year’s City Edition merchandise, and true to form, I’m loving the hats. And hoodies. And shirts.

Phoenix has unveiled their new City Edition court, which they’ll debut at home, and let’s just say, it’s en fuego. This court isn’t just fire; it’s a whole five-alarm blaze. Gorgeous? Check. Sexy? Absolutely. It’s so stunning, you might just feel the urge to toss rose petals every time you walk past it.

The homage to the 1995 All-Star Game is clear. The coloring. The geckos. The slanted cactus.
What truly elevates this design for me is the integration of that iconic Western font, infusing the court with a sense of nostalgia and identity. The Phoenix Suns logo at center court, seamlessly paired with the green-outlined “The Valley” on the baselines, creates an eye-catching aesthetic that feels both modern and deeply rooted in tradition.
The court doesn’t just draw attention. It celebrates the franchise’s rich history and enduring legacy. As a lifelong Suns fan, I can’t help but appreciate the thoughtful nods to the past.
The team, without question, got this one right. Don’t you think?
