Things appear to be trending toward Bradley Beal being traded from the Washington Wizards, and the Phoenix Suns have been named as a reported finalist to land him.
Many fans and media alike have been wondering just how the Suns intend to acquire Beal, and now, thanks to NBA insider Chris Haynes, we have an idea of what a Phoenix trade offer needs to look like.
According to Haynes, the Suns can offer their starting center, former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, and reserve guard Landry Shamet for Beal, but a combo of Chris Paul and Shamet is “what it would take” to actually get the deal done.
Phoenix can offer trade package of Deandre Ayton and Landry Shamet to Washington for Bradley Beal, but it’s believed a Chris Paul, Shamet deal is what it would take if Beal chose to force his way to Suns via his no-trade clause, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Suns planned to release Paul. However, the veteran point guard has expressed his desire to remain in Phoenix.
Paul’s $30.8 million salary for 2023-24 would become fully guaranteed if he is still on the Suns’ roster after June 28.
