The Arizona Cardinals are in offseason mode and we are still weeks away from free agency and months from the NFL draft. Over the next little while, we will take a look at each player on the roster or signed to a reserve deal and break down where they stand with the team.
We will look at their 2024 season, their contract status and what their status is for the coming offseason and 2025 season.
Next up is OL McClendon Curtis.
2024 McClendon Curtis stats, season
Curtis spent time last season with the Seattle Seahawks. He appeared in four games, logging 19 snaps on special teams. He had a special teams tackle. He also spent time on their practice squad.
2025 contract status
He signed a futures deal for 2025 in January with the Cardinals. He is scheduled to make $1.03 million in 2025.
Outlook for 2025
Players who signed futures deals after the season is over are usually guys many would consider camp bodies.
Curtis is an interesting one because before he went undrafted in 2023, many felt he could be a sleeper and could develop into something nice in the NFL as a guard or tackle. The Cardinals were a team interested in him before the draft.
But the likelihood is that he will be a guy who will compete for a spot on the back of the roster or the practice squad after final cuts.
