The Arizona Cardinals are in offseason mode and we are still weeks away from free agency and months from the NFL draft. Over the next little while, we will take a look at each player on the roster or signed to a reserve deal and break down where they stand with the team.
We will look at their 2024 season, their contract status and what their status is for the coming offseason and 2025 season.
Next up is wide receiver Andre Baccellia.
2024 Andre Baccellia stats, season
Baccellia has managed to stick around with the Cardinals since September 2021, lasting two seasons under head coach Kliff Kingsbury and two under Jonathan Gannon.
In 2024, he was on the practice squad all season. For the second time in two seasons, he was named the team’s Pat Tillman practice player of the week.
He has not had a target or a reception since 2022.
2025 contract status
Baccellia signed a futures deal after the season’s conclusion. It is worth $1.03 million. None of it is guaranteed and the salary matches the cap hit because there was no signing bonus.
Outlook for 2025
Baccellia finds himself in the same spot as he is in every year with the roster. He projects as a guy who will be outside the number to make the active roster, but after four years with the team, perhaps this is the year he breaks through.
So his offseason outlook is once again as a fringe player fighting to have any role on the NFL roster.
