ROTB Poll inside: where will ARI be picked to finish in the NFC West in 2025
- Kyler Murray played this week like the game had slowed down for him, albeit without having to contend much with Nick Bosa, who played sparingly. It’s fantastic that he threw TD passes to Trey McBride, Greg Dortch (twice) and Marvin Harrison Jr. Do you see this performance as auspicious for the 2025 season or does it feel like a tease to you?
- This was the first time since Kyler’s rookie season that he won a post-October NFC West game. His 6-year record in post-October NFC West games improves to 2-16. It was also the first time the Cardinals have won their final game since Bruce Arians won his swan song at Seattle a day before his retirement after the 2017 season. In light of Kyler Murray’s post-October swoons, do you want to see the Cardinals trade him this off-season, particularly if the Raiders, Jets or Steelers offer a 1st round pick?
- What in the world do you make of the Cardinals’ minimal use of WR Greg Dortch? Do you think they will re-sign The Torch? Do you think he would want to bring his “Dortcher chamber” (thank you Brett Kollmann) to another team?
- Did it annoy you that for much of 3 quarters QB Josh Dobbs was moving the ball with relative ease?
- Seems highly ironic that CB Sean Murphy-Bunting was having perhaps his best game of the season before getting ejected for the tussle he had with WR Jauan Jennings. Knowing that fighting of any kind is outlawed by Jonathan Gannon, do you appreciate Gannon’s stance or were you delighted to see SMB have it out with Jennings?
- So great to see Kei’Trel Clark make a stunning play on the football that was so close to turning into a pick-six. Why do you think Kei’Trel was played so sparingly, considering how well he played seemingly every time he got the chance this year (71.0 PFF grade)?
- Lou Anarumo, after a couple of rough seasons in Cincinnati, was fired today. No NFL DC has had the type of success he’s had in thwarting the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Do you think it would be wise for the Cardinals to hire Lou as a defensive advisor? Do you think that JG will happen to add any advisors for the 2025 season?
- The grades are in —- here are the Cardinals who graded above 70:
