The Arizona Cardinals add an enforcer in the middle of their defense.
For the Arizona Cardinals adding to and beefing up the defensive front seven is a must this offseason.
While we have free agency first, and that could change things for the Arizona Cardinals that won’t stop the mock draft machine.
It also would be unlikely to change this pick.
Even if the Cardinals added Milton Williams and Josh Sweat in free agency, the team would still need someone to anchor the middle of that line.
Enter Daniel Jeremiah’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0, as he has the Arizona Cardinals adding just that.
From Jeremiah:
“16. Arizona Cardinals – Kenneth Grant, DL Michigan
Grant would immediately assist against the run, and he has enormous upside as a pass rusher. The hope is he eventually develops into an impact defender in the mold of Dexter Lawrence.”
Jeremiah hits the nail on the head.
At worst Grant gives the Cardinals a big bodied, run stuffing monster.
If he can reach his true potential, we could see a guy who is a true three down terror, something that is rare and hard to find on the interior.
