The Arizona Cardinals tight end was coming back from a concussion.
The Arizona Cardinals need all the help and health they can get this week against the San Francisco 49ers and it looks like they are not getting much of either.
Yesterday, head coach Jonathan Gannon said it looked like tight end Trey McBride would be playing on Sunday, but that has since changed, as the team has downgraded him to questionable with a rib injury.

This means something happened in the last 24 hours, as McBride himself talked about returning on Sunday.
“I’m feeling ready to go.”#AZCardinals TE Trey McBride returns on Sunday after missing last week due to a concussion.
And as far as his thoughts on the 49ers?
“We got our hands full with this team. They’re a great defense.”

This goes with young cornerback Garrett Williams being out, Kelvin Beachum and Matt Prater being questionable.
The Cardinals need all the healthy bodies and as much talent as they have if they are going to compete tomorrow with the San Francisco 49ers, who have some injury questions of their own, heading into a short week, Thursday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
Hopefully Trey can play, but we will keep an eye on it.
