The Arizona Cardinals are moving on from their defensive line coaches.
The Arizona Cardinals lost their linebackers coach to a promotion, they are now losing their defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc, by their own choice as they have parted ways with the veteran defensive line coach.
LeBlanc has been coaching defensive line for two decades, but had only three years NFL experience, one year as the Miami Dolphins assistant defensive line coach, then his two years with the Arizona Cardinals.
Judging LeBlanc would be nearly impossible, as he was hampered by injuries for both seasons, so you have to be impressed how much he got out of rotational players and street free agents.
However, the defensive line was never good.
So, is LeBlanc the fall guy, or is there something more?
They also are moving on from their assistant defensive line coach Cameron Davis, so they obviously wanted something a little different or more from their staff.
Two important position coaches now need to be replaced.
Please note, the contracts of each were not renewed, they were not fired.
