The Arizona Cardinals did not make the postseason, so their fans get to watch the playoffs with no true rooting interest. However, there are some Cardinals-related reasons to watch because every team left in the postseason has soon-to-be free agents and some could end up offseason targets for Arizona.
The Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the final of three playoff games on Sunday.
Below are some players on Tampa’s roster scheduled to be free agents who could be potential targets for some of the Cardinals’ offseason needs.
Potentials Cardinals free agent targets on Buccaneers
EDGE Anthony Nelson
Nelson is not a big-time pass rusher but had four sacks for the Bucs as a rotational outside linebacker.
G Ben Bredeson
The Cardinals have potentially both starting guard jobs to address. Bredeson started every game for Tampa at left guard.
LB K.J. Britt
Britt is listed behind J.J. Russell and Lavonte David on the depth chart at inside linebacker but played in 14 games, starting 11. He had 72 tackles and half a sack. The Cardinals need an inside linebacker if Kyzir White leaves.
