Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker has earned yet another honor for his play in the 2024 season. The Associated Press announced the 2024 All-Pro team and he was named to the second team.
It is the fourth time in his career he has been named to an All-Pro team. In 2017, he made the All-Pro First team as a rookie on special teams. In 2020 he made the First Team as a safety. In 2021 and now this year, he made the Second Team.
He also made the Pro Bowl for the seventh consecutive season and the eighth time overall in his career and was named the team’s co-MVP with running back James Conner by the local chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America.
He finished the season in 2024 with 164 total tackles, including 95 solo and 10 tackles for loss. He had two sacks, three quarterback hits, a forced fumble and five pass breakups.
The two safeties on the All-Pro First Team were Kerby Joseph of the Detroit Lions and Xavier McKinney of the Green Bay Packers. Kyle Hamilton of the Baltimore Ravens joins Baker on the second team.
Baker receives 38 total points, including seven first-place votes. Of the 50 voters, he received seven first-place votes (worth three points) and 17 second-place votes (worth one point).
