The safety is an All Pro once again.
The 2024 AP All Pro selections will be announced soon, but they have released the voting and the Arizona Cardinals had only four players receive votes, with only one player making the All Pro team.
Budda Baker will be a 2nd Team All Pro this season after what Darren Urban described so aptly:
Budda Baker had a season to remember. The safety set a personal record for tackles in a season (164), was named to his seventh Pro Bowl, signed a long-desired contract extension, and then Friday, he was named second-team All-Pro.
Interesting the other players to receive votes: Trey McBride finished third overall at tight end behind rookie Brock Bowers (1st team) and veteran George Kittle (2nd team).
Garrett Williams was the fifth in slot cornerback voting, with Marlon Humphrey of Baltimore 1st team and Derwin James of the LA Chargers 2nd team.
Finally, D.J. Dallas was seventh in voting with KaVontae Turpin winning 1st team in a landslide and Austin Ekeler getting 2nd team.
Congratulations to Budda Baker!
