It’s been a delightful consistency
One of the common denominators of several of the Cardinals six big wins this season is Budda Baker blowing up plays in the opponents’ backfield.

The Jets are in a run-heavy 13 personnel formation here and watch how quickly Budda Baker reads the play and streaks like a comet to the football. Watch how fundamentally brilliant Budda’s tackle is —- from how low he gets his pad level in order to get to the RB’s legs —- and then upon contact how he wraps up the tackle with arms and hands like swiftly hooked talons.
Did you notice how Budda is so quick on his pursuit that he fakes out the TE at the end of the line with a slalom hop? Did you see how the TE stops and looks over to say oh sh^^?

Watch how quickly Budda gets to the QB and again how he applies the same perfect tackling technique.
Model of Consistency and Leadership:
Budda Baker in his last 5 games:
— 7 Total Tackles (4 Solo, 3 Assists)
— 8 Total Tackles (4 Solo, 4 Assists)
— 12 Total Tackles (6 Solo, 6 Assists)
— 12 Total Tackles (10 Solo, 2 Assists)
— 9 Total Tackles (6 Solo, 3 Assists)Leading the league in tackles. pic.twitter.com/aloBXwBUtJ

Budda leads the team in tackles with 100, in stops with 36 and in tackles for loss with 7 (note: his career high in TFLs for a season is 8).
What’s so encouraging about the improvement of the Cardinals’ defense is how Nick Rallis is employing Budda’s input in terms of the week-to-week game planning. The effectiveness of the DC’s and Budda’s schematic communication is paying big-time dividends on the field. Furthermore, Budda is helping to make all the teammates around him more hawkish and fundamentally sharp.
What defensive player has been carrying their unit to success this season?
