The Arizona Cardinals had three vacancies on their practice squad after a series of roster moves earlier in the week. Kicker Chad Ryland was signed to the active roster after Matt Prater was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. They also released tight end Jordan Murray and offensive lineman Austen Pleasants on Tuesday.
The team announced three practice squad signings on Wednesday — an offensive lineman, a linebacker and a cornerback.
Starting left guard Evan Brown, linebacker Kyzir White and cornerback Star Thomas all exited the Cardinals’ loss to the Packers on Sunday with injuries, so it would appear that they could miss practice time this week, necessitating other bodies to fill the roles they need in practice, whether to get team reps or scout team reps.
Here are the details of the players they added.
