Kyler Murray won’t be the only member of the Cardinals backfield returning to action on Sunday.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the team is activating running back James Conner from the IR for tomorrow’s game vs. the Falcons.

Conner had reportedly been “trending in the right direction” to be activated after looking good in his practice sessions this week.
The two-time Pro Bowler hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury in Week 5 and was replaced by rookie Emari Demercado who’s dealing with an injury of his own right now.
It has to be a welcome sight for fans in the desert to see their lead back and $230 million QB in the lineup together for the first time this season. The 1-8 Cardinals recently dealt Josh Dobbs to Minnesota with Murray’s return date approaching.
Arizona has some winnable games left on its schedule. The franchise is projected to have 12 selections in next year’s draft.
