Apparently, the Arizona Cardinals know what they’re going to do with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
According to Matt “Money” Smith of AM 570 LA Sports, the Cardinals have told Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr. that he’ll be selected with the fourth overall pick.
Harrison has been heavily linked to the Cardinals throughout the draft process, so fans wouldn’t be surprised if this actually happens.
During a podcast appearance in March, Cardinals offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. said that Harrison wants Arizona to draft him. Johnson and Harrison were once teammates at Ohio State.
“Right when I got drafted, I literally went to Marvin and was like, ‘Dude, you know you’re a Cardinal, right?’ I knew he was going to be a Cardinal, because I saw what happened with D-Hop [DeAndre Hopkins],” Johnson said, via Fox News Digital. “I’m like, the Cardinals are probably going to want another 6-foot-4 receiver.”
A quarterback-needy team could, in theory, send the Cardinals an offer for the No. 4 pick that they can’t refuse. However, that would require their front office to pass up on drafting Harrison.
Harrison is considered the top wideout in this year’s draft, and rightfully so. He hauled in 155 passes for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns during his time at Ohio State.
Do you think the Cardinals will draft Harrison tonight?
