The Arizona Cardinals announced the release of cornerback Keion Crossen and safety Jason Taylor II from the practice squad Tuesday, leaving two vacancies to fill on the 17-player group. Taylor had been signed to the practice squad on Sept. 17 and Crossen Oct. 16.
They held tryouts for four players on Tuesday, three defensive linemen and a linebacker.
One of the spots has been reportedly filled by defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow, who was one of the three defensive linemen who tried out.
The Cardinals were without nose tackle Roy Lopez (ankle) in Sunday’s game against Miami, while Naquan Jones suffered a thigh injury during the game. His status will be updated Wednesday on the first day of practice in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Bears.
