The Arizona Cardinals have only been part of three international games in recent history. They have played twice in Mexico City (2005, 2021) and once in London (2016).
They could potentially play in Berlin in 2025.
The NFL announced that the Indianapolis Colts would be this coming season’s designated home team for a game in Berlin, Germany, the first-ever regular-season game there.
The league has played games in Germany before, but those, including last season, were in Munich.
The Colts are one of the Cardinals’ nine road opponents in 2025, so their matchup could be the international game.
Arizona will not play in London in 2025. The league already designated the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars as the two designated home teams for the London games. The Cardinals will not play the Browns in 2025 and, while they will play Jaguars because they will play everyone in the AFC South, that game will be at State Farm Stadium.
We will have to wait until May for the schedule release to see if the Cardinals get to travel to Germany, but it is something that is at least on the table for them.
