The Arizona Cardinals elevated safety Andre Chachere to the active roster on Saturday ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Chachere was called up after starting safety Jalen Thompson was ruled out on Friday with an ankle injury. This marked the second game Thompson will be out after missing the Cardinals’ Week 10 matchup versus the New York Jets.
The Cardinals signed Chachere to the practice squad on Monday, making it his fourth stint with Arizona dating back to 2019.
His previous stint with the Cardinals ended in August, and he recently spent time on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad before he was released in October.
Chachere has played in 40 games in three seasons between the Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles from 2021-23 and registered 50 tackles.
Chachere appeared in 17 games with five starts for Arizona last year. He registered 30 tackles and three passes defensed.
