The Arizona Cardinals had a walkthrough Wednesday in advance of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, so the injury report is an estimate.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon said the decision was made to not have a regular practice because “where we’re at in the season and where the health is of our team, I felt like we could get the most done doing that.”
Gannon said before practice that running back James Conner would not play and that was affirmed later in the day when he was placed on injured reserve after running back Trey Benson was put there Tuesday.
Running back Michael Carter was signed from the practice squad, joining DeeJay Dallas, to make it two runners on the active roster. Tony Jones Jr. is a candidate to be elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Hassan Hall was signed to the practice squad Tuesday.
Below are the details of the Cardinals’ first injury report of Week 18.
