The NFL announced on Thursday the conference players of the month for the AFC and NFC as well as the league’s rookies of the month. Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland, who has only been on the roster during the month of October, was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month.
In four games, he has made 8-of-9 field goals, including a career-long 57 yards, but what set him apart were the three game-winning field goals he made, including two consecutive games as time expired.
Below are the players of the month for October.
