The Arizona Cardinals lead the Patriots at the half.
The Arizona Cardinals are winning. That’s about the best we can say after their first half against the New England Patriots.
Outside of leading, there has not been much to write home about.
They were extremely lucky to get their first touchdown.
From there, it’s the same inconsistency, inefficiency and inexplicable play calling and execution that we have seen during the three game losing streak, just against a team that isn’t very good.
It’s really odd to see how this is playing out as well, because you just can’t force yourself to get excited about a 13-3 lead at the half.
No, with how poorly the passing game looks and their inexplicable use of a dominant running game, 11 carries for 92 yards at the half, it just feels like a win here isn’t exciting.
Maybe that changes for the better in this half, but for now, we wait and see how the Arizona Cardinals finish off the New England Patriots and if they can get back to .500 on the season.
Let’s go Cardinals!
