The Arizona Cardinals have inquired, but it seems unlikely that Hendrickson is in their plans.
The Arizona Cardinals have done a great job of getting better along the defensive line this offseason.
It was obviously an early priority and the team attacked it from the outset.
In fact, according to our buddy Johnny, the Arizona Cardinals inquired about the status of Trey Hendrickson when he became available.

Well, you can inquire all you want, but it seems like the reality is that the Cincinnati Bengals are not actually interested in moving Hendrickson.
Teams are willing to pay Trey Hendrickson the contract that he desires but have found Cincinnati’s current asking price to be “ridiculous,” as one GM told me.

It makes sense, why move on from a player who has been excellent but also is under contract? If you set an astronomical price, then you allow them to go out and look for something different and just tell the player and his agent, no one will meet your asking price.
It’s a clever ploy, and one that teams use all the time, but also the reality is this is the Bengals. They have not just Hendrickson, but also Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins they have to pay and are just wasting time letting their prices go up.
So, it makes sense that it won’t happen, or it’ll have to be an overpay from the buyers side to get them to make the move.
Oh well, the Cardinals have done a nice job thus far, and while Hendrickson would definitely be the cherry on top, isn’t necessary.
