Cardinals rookie Paris Johnson Jr. is tributing the late Dwayne Haskins ahead of his first NFL game.
On Sunday, the former Ohio State star was seen rocking a Haskins tee as he arrived at FedExField to take on the QB’s ex-team.
Fans reacted to Johnson’s entrance on social media.
“Rest in Peace Dwayne,” a user said. “forever impacting our Buckeyes.”
“Man, this dude has done everything right so far as a pro. Really love to see it,” another commented.
“Buckeye 4 life,” a fan replied.
“I love this man,” another person applauded.
“W.”
“So glad we drafted him,” another user tweeted. “#LetMontiCook.”
The Cards selected the big left tackle out of Columbus with the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft.
Standing 6-foot-6, 313-pounds, Johnson has the versatility to move up and down the line and get out and block in space.
He’ll face a tough test against a swarming Commanders defensive line, who’ll be looking to welcome him to the league with a loss.
