Here are the many people I wish to thank
On this Thanksgiving Day Eve, I would like to give thanks to:
- Jim Skane (aka Skkorp) of arizonasportsfans.com who gave me my start as a blogger and writer of Cardinals’-related articles. Skkorp was such a gifted, witty writer and I could not have asked for a better mentor.
- Seth Cox who gave me the opportunity to be his deputy editor and fellow writer at ROTB. His loyal support continues to be a daily source of encouragement. I especially appreciate our enlightening talks about ROTB and the Cardinals. Dude works his tail off. You cannot stop Seth —-> you can only hope to contain him!
- You, the members of ROTB, who continue to inspire me to try to provide the board with the kind of Cardinals-related content that you can chew on, entertain, discuss and debate. What I appreciate most about you is your impressive ability to think critically and independently. So many of you do your homework and do it well. This is why I believe that for Cardinals’ fans, ROTB is the place to go for “well-informed” opinions.
- Kyle “L’il Rock” Ledbetter who is the wizard behind the curtain for the Red Rain Podcast. I not only consider Kyle as an outstanding producer and connoisseur of NFL knowledge, I consider him a great friend.
- Blake, Johnny, Andy, Buck and Damien for the time, effort and insight they gave to ROTB.
- Since61, Suz, Joe “The Professor” Comeau, Brett Kollmann, Kyle Odegard, Barry Shuck, Marcos Labrada, Kevin Murray, Kyle Sloter, Ed Kratz, Dan Viens, Paul Buker and all of the fantastic guests whom Kyle and I have been fortunate to host on Red Rain over the years.
- Dan Bickley and Vince Marotta for being supportive of ROTB. So too have Ron Wolfley, John Gambadoro and Dave Burns.
- The 2024 Arizona Cardinals who are providing us with meaningful football this season.
I don’t take any of you for granted.
And never will.
Wishing you and your families all the warmth and joy that Thanksgiving Day brings.
As Yogi Berra would say, “when you come to the fork in life, take it!”
With appreciation and respect,
Mitch
And special thanks to my Uncle Michael and #8 Larry Wilson, for without both of you, my life-long love for the Cardinals would have never happened:
