ESPN thinks the Arizona Cardinals still have a need at wide receiver.
We are on the homestretch of the 2025 NFL Draft and for the Arizona Cardinals the question becomes what are the teams biggest needs.
After free agency you and I have our thoughts, but what do the experts at ESPN think?
Matt Miller, Jordan Reid and roving beat reporter Josh Weinfuss weighed in on the Arizona Cardinals biggest needs after the first wave of free agency.
From E$PN:
“Top three needs: WR, DT, G. The Cardinals strengthened their defense during free agency but can still benefit from drafting a prospect on the defensive line.”
People know me and know while I love a good playmaker, I just don’t see it as a huge need. They need a specific type, maybe a Matthew Golden who has the speed and playmaking to take the top off the defense, but I feel like that’s not the need in round one.
Instead I look at the Cincinnati Bengals and want to avoid that situation, where they have unlimited talent on offense, but are not in the playoffs.
So, I am fine with the second and third tier of needs, but disagree on the first one.
What about you?
