Kyler Murray spent part of his bye week taste-testing some good ol’ New York pizza, but a casual TikTok post about the most lowkey part of his day went viral for a genuine interaction with a man named Surya.
The Arizona Cardinals quarterback posted up at a shared outside table to enjoy a slice, and he included his table-mate in the conversation with his production team as he took in the tastes.

“Solid, what you think, bro? You like it?” Murray asked before they exchanged names and Murray learned that Surya was from Switzerland. “Need some ranch. It’s a little saucy. Don’t you think?”
“Little bit too saucy, a little bit too sweet,” Surya confirmed.
Murray needed some ranch — which offended some internet pizza eaters — and said the “bread ain’t breadin.’”
“So you guys go around testing different pizzas?” Surya asked.
And at that point it was clear Surya was unaware of Murray’s day job.
“No, just enjoying New York,” the quarterback said.
The internet did as it does, and the genuine interaction between two dudes who didn’t know the other went viral. Bleacher Report’s American football Instagram account caught some waves, and a user named Surya ended up finding out he was famous.
“That’s me in the video lol,” he commented. “I could tell that something was up (cameras, reaction of people around us) but we were just chilling so it felt normal to not make a big deal. We talked for a bit afterwards, very nice guy.”
In a comment that no longer appears, Murray told Surya that if he cares to take in an American football game, he would take care of the seats for Surya and any friends.

Nothing like a wholesome meeting between two dudes.
“Kyler not realize he was standin next to surya,” one commenter wrote.
“Imagine u just found out u ate food with another human being 🤯” added another.
