Kyler Murray is taking an important step in his recovery from ACL surgery on Wednesday.
The Arizona Cardinals are opening Murray’s 21-day window, and the former No. 1 pick will return to practice. Murray has not played since tearing his ACL in Week 14 of the 2022 season.
The quarterback let everyone know he’s “practicing today” with a tweet this afternoon.

After winning Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2019 and making the Pro Bowl each of the next two seasons, Murray’s production took a slight step back in 2022 prior to his injury.
With the Cardinals potentially in the running to get the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, some have theorized that Murray’s career in the desert will be coming to an end soon.
However, the team has not indicated it intends to move on from the Oklahoma product, and now it seems like we’ll get to see Murray back on the field at some point this fall.
