Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been sidelined since tearing his ACL in December of 2022. The team has not yet announced when he’ll return to the starting lineup.
That being said, Murray did showcase his impressive physique after a workout session this Thursday.
Murray also sent a brief message to anyone doubting his return.
“Kutthroat this time around,” Murray wrote for his Instagram caption.
Murray has been providing constant updates on his rehab process. Earlier this week, he made it clear that he’s eager to get back on the field.
“You learn a lot about yourself in these types of moments,” Murray said. “To those of you who ride with me, support me, speak up for me, I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. I won’t let us down … Soon.”
Murray, a two-time Pro Bowler and former Offensive Rookie of the Year, has racked up 13,848 passing yards, 2,204 rushing yards and 107 total touchdowns since entering the league in 2019.
While there have been plenty of “tank for Caleb Williams” chants in Arizona, there’s no doubt Murray has the talent to be a franchise quarterback. He just has to return to the field and silence his doubters.
