Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is officially signed, sealed and delivered.
Harrison signed his rookie contract on Thursday, the Cardinals. The four-year deal is worth $35.37 million, fully guaranteed, including a signing bonus of $22.5 million, and includes a team option for a fifth-year in 2028.
While his contract hadn’t been signed yet, Harrison has been participating in the Cardinals’ OTAs this week alongside his new teammates.
“All the guys around, offense and defense, have done a great job welcoming me,” Harrison said, via the team’s website. “I’m excited to go out there, earn the trust of my teammates, and earn a role any way I can.”
The No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Harrison was the 2023 Biletnikoff Award winner and a two-time unanimous All-American at Ohio State.
He will be counted on to provide an immediate boost to the Cardinals’ offense this fall.
“I like where I’m at going into the offseason and going into training camp (in July),” Harrison said. “Hopefully you see some good things in September.”
While Harrison’s rookie contract is in the books, he still has not signed the NFLPA’s licensing agreement because of an ongoing dispute with Fanatics, the online retailer and merchandising company.
Fanatics has filed a lawsuit against Harrison for breach of contract, which he and his representation say is not what happened.
