Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon is already displaying a bit of gamesmanship for Week 1.
Gannon told reporters Wednesday that he knows who’ll start at quarterback this weekend against the Commanders. And yet, he won’t share that news with the public.
“I ain’t telling you anything,” Gannon said, via ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss.
Fans aren’t amused with Gannon’s comment in large part because his options at quarterback are subpar at best.

The Cardinals will either start Josh Dobbs, who they acquired in a trade on Aug. 24, or fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune.
Dobbs appeared in one preseason game for the Browns this summer. The Tennessee product had 77 yards and an interception.
Tune, on the other hand, had some ups and downs in the preseason. He did, however, end the preseason with an efficient performance against the Vikings, completing 9-of-12 pass attempts for 85 yards.
The Cardinals will need either Dobbs or Tune to hold down the fort at quarterback until Kyler Murray is ready to return from his torn ACL.
