Arizona Cardinals add two of the top prospects in the draft at positions of need.
Happy Mock Draft Monday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals will be on the clock in three days, but for now we look back at this years 2025 SB Nation NFL Manager Mock Draft.
Earlier in the month we sat and watched some interesting picks based on what I think other managers want their teams to do, and it ended with Jalon Walker, a player who seems like a top ten lock, falling to us at 16.
16. Arizona Cardinals – Jalon Walker, LB – Georgia
What I said with the pick:
The Arizona Cardinals coaching staff has had huge success with players like Walker. So adding a high-end talent who can play as a rush end or as a weak-side linebacker seems like a no-brainer at this point in the draft.
Today was the second pick for the Cardinals, this one in the second round and again, I stared at the board for about 20 minutes, did searches in the document, just making sure I wasn’t imagining things.
47. Arizona Cardinals – Donovan Jackson, OL – Ohio State
The Arizona Cardinals end up with a player we have discussed in round one if they were to move back or trade back up into the first.
If the draft unfolds this way, highly unlikely, the Arizona Cardinals fill two of their biggest needs in the first two rounds and can look at adding help along the defensive line, in the secondary, or at pass catcher in round three.
Here is waht the second round looked like. If you want to check out all the first round picks, check out this post!
