The Arizona Cardinals are not in the playoffs but some future Cardinals players could be, as free agency begins in March.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans play the first game of the weekend in the wild card round, kicking off Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
The Texans have a number of players scheduled to hit free agency.
Some might be of interest for the Cardinals in terms of fits and potential targets.
Here are some players to know.
CB Jeff Okudah
The former first-round pick of the Detroit Lions played in only six games for the Texans but he is still only 25 years old and was drafted while Cardinals assistant GM Dave Sears was in charge of scouting for Detroit.
The Cardinals could use a player who could be depth or a potential starter at cornerback. Okudah might just fit.
LB Devin White
White was once a Pro Bowler and first-round pick, selected fifth overall in 2019. But he has bounced around in recent seasons, playing in seven games for the Texans. He will be 27 years old next month and the Cardinals could be looking for either a starter to replace Kyzir White or depth at the position.
EDGE Derek Barnett
Barnett had five sacks and returned two fumbles for touchdowns in 2024 for the Texans. He is still only 28 years old and did play for Jonathan Gannon when he was with the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is a productive rotational pass rusher.
