“So Josh Dobbs is now the starting QB of the Cardinals? Or is it fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune?” asked Aaron Schatz. “So much for my idea that ‘the Cardinals won’t be as bad as people expect because McCoy is passable as the starting QB.'”

“Releasing a veteran quarterback after a summer of first-team reps to make way for a fifth-round pick and/or a well-traveled, lightly played journeyman who hasn’t been there more than a week is certainly a choice,” Mike Kaye tweeted.
