Looking at some of the NFL Combine winners and how they could fit with the Arizona Cardinals.
As we head towards the beginning of free agency, the 2025 NFL Combine has left me excited for the offseason.
While it is easy to see the needs of the Arizona Cardinals, it is also easy to see how these needs line up with the strength of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Maybe it was foresight, maybe it was dumb luck, but the Arizona Cardinals are in a great position to continue to build in the right way, something they haven’t done under any regime.
Hell, one could argue that Denny Green was the only one who drafted a contingent of key contributors, and even he didn’t get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
So, can the duo Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon get a draft with four impact starters and see them contribute to their regime?
After the NFL Combine I think the answer is yes.
Here are three players I’d love to see at pick 16 for the Arizona Cardinals (in no particular order).
Armand Membou, Missouri
I don’t think Membou makes it to 16 at this point, but he was impressive. He moves with an elite group, including Tristan Wirfs, and could be the bookend opposite PJJ for the foreseeable future. Not to bring up old stuff, but why not just take Wirfs all those years ago?
Derrick Harmon, Oregon
Holy crap I liked Harmon, but his testing numbers at his size are impressive. Add in that he hit big production wise this season at Oregon, and we could be looking at a menace in the middle of the defense.
Jihad Campbell, Alabama
Campbell is an explosive, rangy athlete who can play off the edge or as a true inside backer. He has the size and athleticism to be a menace and leader in the middle of the Arizona Cardinals defense.
Tomorrow, we take a look at some of the names who could make sense at 47.
