The NFL informed its 32 clubs that the 2025 salary cap will be finalized next week, but that it will fall between $277.5 million and $281.5 million.
What does that mean for the Arizona Cardinals?
If the cap falls at the low end at $277.5 million, the Cardinals will have $74.5 million in cap space and that will increase to $78.5 million if the number comes in at the top of the range.
The Cardinals have the fourth-most projected cap space in the NFL, trailing only the New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders and Washington Commanders.
They are one of only seven teams who will have, if the number comes at the bottom of the projections, at least $60 million.
The Cardinals have needs at guard, outside linebacker, inside linebacker, defensive line and receiver, among other areas.
We will see soon what their plan is to address those needs when the new league year begins.
