It was déjà vu for the Arizona Cardinals in their 23-22 loss to the Vikings Sunday.
Similar to the week before in the loss to the Seahawks, the defense played lights out for most of the first three quarters, but then couldn’t finish with the game on the line.
In Seattle, the Seahawks started at their own 19-yard line leading 13-6 with 10:03 remaining in the game. More than eight minutes later (8:12 to be exact), kicker Jason Myers hit a 50-yard field goal for a two-score lead with 1:56 to play. Seattle ran 13 plays and converted three third downs on the possession.
This week hurt more because the Cardinals had a two-score lead and failed to close the door on the Vikings thanks to way too many big plays.
Like last week, we’ll break it down.
